Before any use of the platform, users are invited to read the GTU. By accessing the platform and using the services available on the platform, you acknowledge that you are bound by these GTU. We reserve the right to modify these GTU at any time, in which case you will be informed by any appropriate means (email, notification upon connection, etc.). Any continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the terms of use as modified.

To use certain services, it may be necessary to create a personal space. In this case, you must, where applicable, provide the required information during registration and accept these general conditions. Access to certain personal spaces may be limited to specific categories of users only.
You are responsible for the quality and confidentiality of your password and identifier, as well as for all activity generated by your password and your personal space. You undertake to inform us immediately via the communication tool available in the personal space, or according to the contact information in Article 16, of any fraudulent use of your password or account and any other security breach, as well as to ensure that you close your account at the end of each session (logout). The FANAF cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your non-compliance with the GTU.
The equipment (computer, software, telecommunication means, etc.) necessary to access the platform is your exclusive responsibility, as are the telecommunication costs incurred by their use. The use of the Internet implies risks, particularly that data transmitted in this manner may be intercepted, altered, or destroyed. By using the platform, you accept these risks and we disclaim all responsibility in this context.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of any of our obligations under the Contract that is caused by an event beyond our control. An event beyond our control is an act, omission or accident that is reasonably beyond our control. If an event beyond our control occurs affecting the performance of our obligations under a Contract, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to inform you. Our obligations under the Contract will be suspended and the time needed to perform our obligations will be extended for the duration of the event beyond our control. If the event beyond our control affects the delivery of electronic certificates, we will arrange for a new manual delivery once this event is over.
Access to one of our services may be interrupted for reasons including maintenance, updates and in case of emergency. Service interruption, regardless of cause, duration or frequency, will not engage our liability and will not give rise to any compensation for the user. Consequently, we cannot be held responsible for loss of money or reputation, nor for special, indirect or consequential damages resulting from service interruption.
With respect to Users, the FANAF is and remains the holder of all intellectual property rights of the platform, as well as the accessible content. The provision by the FANAF of these does not entail any transfer of intellectual property rights, nor the granting of any other right of use.
The FANAF attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and complies with applicable legislative and regulatory provisions in this area. We have established a privacy policy, accessible at https://www.fanaf2026.org/politique-de-confidentialité which describes how personal data is collected through the platform and for what purposes. This privacy policy, as modified from time to time, is an integral part of these GTU.
We reserve the right, at any time, without having to justify a particular reason, to modify or temporarily or permanently stop the platform or any Service, with or without notice, without incurring liability. If you have a personal space, we may, at our sole discretion and without liability to you, without having to justify a particular reason, with or without notice, at any time delete or limit your access to your personal space or any Service, and deactivate or erase your account.
The platform, services and content are provided as is and as available. We expressly disclaim, and you waive, all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, quality or availability of the platform, services or content. We give no warranty or make any representation that (i) the platform will meet your needs, (ii) the platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, (iii) the services and results that may be obtained from the use of the platform will be accurate or reliable, and (iv) the platform will be updated and any content errors will be corrected. Any document downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of the platform is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your computer system or any loss of data resulting from the download of such documents.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that the FANAF, within legal limits, shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, material or immaterial, incidental, special, consequential, derivative damages, including, without limitation, damages for civil liability, loss of profits, loss of enjoyment, data or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages) resulting from: (i) the direct or indirect use of the platform or the inability to use it, (ii) unauthorized access to your data or its alteration, (iii) statements or conduct of any third party on the platform, (iv) information and results on the platform related to it and all documents disseminated on it, (v) any other cause related to the FANAF platform. In addition, we disclaim all liability regarding the manipulation of a computer system by yourself, your representatives, or unauthorized third parties. We expressly draw your attention to the risks of viruses and the possibility of targeted attacks by hackers. To combat viruses, we recommend using the latest versions of browsers and installing continuously updated antivirus software. Opening emails from unknown sources and unexpected attachments contained in emails should generally be avoided. Furthermore, ordinary emails sent via the Internet are neither confidential nor secure and may be read by third parties, lost, intercepted or modified. Emails cross borders, even if the sender and recipient are located in the same country. Emails may be infected with viruses.
You agree to indemnify us, our partners and employees for any liability, loss, damage, claim, penalty, fine, costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees, resulting from your violation, whether faulty or not, of these GTU, particularly if you use the platform in violation of these GTU.
If any provision of the GTU is deemed null and void, the parties nevertheless agree that their intentions, as expressed in the provision, shall be executed to the fullest extent possible and that the other provisions of the GTU shall remain in full force and effect. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these GTU. We may assign or transfer any right or obligation, or subcontract the performance of any of our obligations under these GTU to any third party at any time, without requiring your prior consent. Any dispute related to these GTU shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Abidjan. From time to time, We may make minor modifications to a feature to reflect changes in applicable laws and regulatory requirements. These general terms and conditions, as well as any Contract binding us, are exclusively in English. Note that we are obligated to keep a copy of your Contract and all your data. We advise you to keep a copy of these general conditions.
